Community Sport
All successful sports systems start with children in the community. The community is the nursery for all champions. This is where a life-long love of sport and physical activity begins and where children learn the basic skills and approach to competition that they develop as they move through their sporting lives.
VTARA’s goal is to plan and develop practical, economical sports facilities at a national, state and community level. We aim to institute basic sports and fitness activities for local communities with an emphasis on the positive social interaction of youth.
Participation in community sporting and physical activities helps to build happier, healthy and socially cohesive communities. They add value to people’s lives, enhance health and welfare and promote positive social behaviour.
